COVID COUPLE was designed to make the audience feel as if it were spying on actual Zoom conversations between a real couple.
To accomplish this required each episode to be shot in a single take — no cutaways, no editing. If one of us broke character or dropped a line, we'd need to re-record the entire episode from the top.
